MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) won a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, he became part of Ozuna on his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia, which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album that year. Then, in 2021 the singer sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was raised in the musical home of his family. Both his older brother and mother are also musicians. He has said in interviews that music is compulsory. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while a young child. The first choice for his career was to become a vet however, his brother Julian convinced him to study to sing with the help of a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he found his talent for singing and transformed his career path.
